Brazil Announce Olympics Squad
Brazil have announced a strong squad for the upcoming Tokyo Olympics, including two former FC Barcelona stars.
The defending champions called up former FC Barcelona right-back Dani Alves as well as Arsenal defender Gabriel Magalhaes.
In addition, Sevilla centre-back Diego Carlos and Aston Villa midfielder Douglas Luiz also made the selection of coach Andre Jardine.
Lyon’s Bruno Guitars, Zenit St. Petersburg winger Malcom, Bayer Leverkusen’s Paulinho and Hertha BSC forward Matheus Cunha are the other overseas-based players.
Brazil, who the previous edition of the tournament, have been drawn win Group D alongside Germany, Ivory Coast and Saudi Arabia.
