Cele Unveiled By Radomiak

South African U23 midfielder Thabo Cele has officially been unveiled by his new club Radomiak Radom after his move to Kaizer Chiefs broke down in the last minute.

Cele, who told iDiski Times that he came very close to joining Amakhosi, moved to the Polish Ekstraklasa side, where he signed a two-year contract with an option to extend it by another year.

He joins the Polish side after his contract at Cova Piedade had expired and was now fully unveiled by his new club.

“24-year-old Thabo Cele has signed a contract with Radomiak Radom! The contract with the South African midfielder will last until the end of the 2022/2023 season with an option to extend it for one year,” Radomiak said in a statement on the club’s website.

“The central midfielder represented his country at this year’s Tokyo Summer Olympics. He played in 3 group games of South Africa against Japan, France and Mexico. He was a certain point with his national team, which, however, did not manage to advance to the knockout stage. Let’s add that Cele has been training with the first team of the Greens for some time.

“Thabo, welcome to Radom and we wish you much success!”
