Former Kaizer Chiefs defender Teenage Hadebe has ‘agreed a deal in principle’ with Houston Dynamo, according to reports.
The 25-year-old left the Glamour Boys in 2019 and has spent the last two seasons with Yeni Malatyaspor in Turkey.
Hadebe helped his side prevent relegation in 2020/21 after featuring in 30 Super Lig games and scoring two goals.
The Zimbabwe international, who still has a contract with Malatyaspor until the end of 2022, will reportedly join Houston Dynamo in the Major League Soccer.
According to reports in Turkey, the defender has agreed to a ‘deal in principle’ and the MLS side will pay €1.5 million (R25 million) for his services.
The American side are understood to be looking for more stability at the back, with Hadebe set to feature as centre-back or left-back.
The former Amakhosi defender has made 29 appearances for the Warriors.
