Simba Give Crucial Fan Update Ahead Of Chiefs
Simba S.C. have announced how many fans will be allowed into their stadium for their crucial second leg against Kaizer Chiefs.
The Glamour Boys beat the Tanzanian giants 4-0 at home despite playing without supporters in the stands.
Simba, however, have confirmed that at least 10 000 supporters will be allowed in their stadium for the reverse fixture in Dar es Salaam on Saturday.
“So far we have permission for 10,000 fans but we continue to ask for more. I ask the stadium to be red and white,” Haji Manara, the club’s media officer said on Wednesday.
“We have a lot of respect for Kaizer Chiefs, they are a good team but we have the potential to overturn the result.”
Simba will host Chiefs at the National Stadium in Tanzania, which has a capacity of up to 60 000 fans but it remains to be seen whether the local government will allow more spectators to join.
