City and Swallows couldn’t be separated, but TTM got past Stellenbosch in the DStv Premiership on Sunday.

TTM’s good form continued as they beat Stellenbosch 1-0 at the Peter Mokaba Stadium.
The hosts took the lead in the 31st minute, Thembisani Nevhulamba tapping in after the ball rebounded off the woodwork from a set piece. It was enough to give TTM the advantage at the break.
The single goal proved to be enough, and despite a good effort from Stellenbosch, TTM held on for the win.
Cape Town City 1-1 Swallows
City were held by ten men Swallows as it ended 1-1 at Cape Town Stadium.
Swallows took the lead in the 13th minute, somewhat against the run of play, as Kgaogelo Sekgota surprised Peter Leeuwenburgh with a shot from outside the area, and beat the Dutch goalkeeper at his near post.
City were awarded a penalty in the 31st minute after Thabo Nodada was adjudged to have been fouled by Njabulo Ngcobo. Mdu Mdantsane stepped up to take the spot kick and sent Thela Ngobeni the wrong way to level matters.
City dominated the stats in the first half, seeing most of the ball and having more chances in the final third, but at halftime it remained 1-1.
Junaid Sait was sent off the 65th minute after a foul on Surprise Ralani,and Swallows were down to ten.Assistant Thabane Makhura was also shown a red for remonstrating.
But ten men Swallows held on, and it could even have gone Brandon Truter’s team way. They remain unbeaten in the 20/21 season.
