Bafana Bafana have made quite a jump in the latest FIFA rankings after their two victories over Ethiopia this month.
Hugo Broos’ team have been writing positive headlines and their performances on the pitch have now also been rewarded in the FIFA rankings.
South Africa climbed to 66th position worldwide, which is seven up in comparison to their 73rd spot in the September rankings.
In addition, Bafana have moved into 12th on the African continent as well.
Senegal have remained the highest-ranked CAF nation in 20th spot, followed by Tunisia in 27th and Morocco in 29th.
Belgium have remained at the top of the world-wide ranking, with Brazil in second and France in third place.
