Chiefs Confirm 6 Out For TTM Clash

Kaizer Chiefs have confirmed that they will be without six players for Tuesday’s clash with Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhandila.

Amakhosi are desperate for a win to keep their top eight hopes alive, but they will have to make due without several of their players.

Both Itumeleng Khune (shoulder) and Daniel Akpeyi (light concussion) will miss the trip, meaning that Bruce Bvuma will most likely start in goal.

Gavin Hunt will also be without the injured Eric Mathoho (ankle), Lebohang Lesako (knee) and Khama Billiat, who seems close to a return.

Four Suspended For Midweek DStv Premiership Games

In addition, Daniel Cardoso will miss the TTM clash at the Peter Mokaba Stadium due to suspension.

However, Happy Mashiane and Nkosingiphile Ngcobo passed late fitness tests and will be available, the club confirmed.

The Glamour Boys enter the game on the back of a run that saw them win just two of their last 13 games in the DStv Premiership.

As a consequence, they have fallen into ninth position on the log, three points behind TS Galaxy.

TTM, meanwhile, sit in 15th spot but have won two of their last four games in the league.

Kick Off is at 17:00 on Tuesday.
