One of Kaizer Chiefs targets has confirmed that he is indeed joining the Glamour Boys.
Former Bidvest Wits midfielder Phathutshedzo Nange, who was released by Stellenbosch FC earlier this week, has confirmed he is joining Amakhosi.
The 29-year-old midfielder was initially set to join Chiefs last season already but failed because the club could not register new players.
Nange previously worked with former Chiefs coach Gavin Hunt at Wits and revealed that he will still move to Naturena, despite Hunt having been replaced by Stuart Baxter.
“I am not going back to Stellenbosch. I signed for a season with Stellenbosch. I will be joining Chiefs next season,” he told Daily Sun.
“My move to Stellenbosch was like a loan as I have been waiting to join Chiefs next season.
“I had a good time at Stellenbosch and I am thankful for the management, technical staff, and the players. I can’t wait to join Chiefs.”
Nange made 24 appearances for Stellenbosch this past season.
