Orlando Pirates co-caretaker coach Fadlu Davids has revealed that Vincent Pule, Zakhele Lepasa and Richard Ofori will not return to the pitch this year.
The Buccaneers made sure to take a home ground advantage as they beat the Rockets 2-0 at Orlando Stadium on Saturday afternoon in the DStv Premiership clash.
Davids confirmed after the match that Pule, Lepasa and Ofori will not return to the field in 2021, while Goodman Mosele and Happy Jele are back in training.
“No, we will not see Pule (in December). Pule will only be in the new year, it’s still part of his rehabilitation program,” he said after the match.
“Mosele is on the pitch, started training with the team this week. Finished his minimal standards in terms of rehab with his ankle.
“Happy Jele is back, will start training with the team very soon. But nut Pule, not Lepasa probably this year, probably (Richard) Ofori this year not.”
Pirates, who climbed into second place on the log, will next face Swallows FC in a Soweto Derby on Tuesday.
