Keagan Dolly has opened up how excited he is about reuniting with his former colleagues Khama Billiat and Leonardo Castro to form the famous CBD-attacking trident.
The 28-year-old was unveiled as Amakhosi’s new Nr. 10 on Tuesday afternoon, while Cole Alexander also joined the club.
At the Glamour Boys, Dolly will find his old attacking foes, Billiat and Castro, whom he formed the dangerous ‘CBD’ partnership with during their days at Mamelodi Sundowns.
He insisted he’s excited to reunite with both, adding that he hopes they can even work better together than before.
“We are still quite close. We speak quite often, myself and Khama,” he said.
“And it’s exciting times to play again with them. I always thought that we had a good connection back when we played together at Sundowns.
“But hopefully now we can just bring all that we’ve learned throughout the past couple of seasons, that we played in our different clubs, and we can just come back together and work hard for the team and score more goals and just encourage each other.”
Dolly joins Chiefs as a free agent after his contract with Ligue 1 side Montpellier had come to an end after five years with the club.
