Gallants Suspend Three Players
Marumo Gallants have suspended three of their first team players, the club’s management has confirmed.
The DStv Premiership side have had a rough start to the new campaign, collecting just two points from their first four games.
The club has now suspended the trio of Tholang Masegela, Aluwani Nedzamba, and Simon Mamudzidi, without revealing the reasons but citing “serious allegations against the three”.
“Marumo Gallants F.C has confirmed that it has given suspension letters to three of its players,” reads a club statement.
“Tholang Masegela, Aluwani Nedzamba, and Simon Mamudzidi, were suspended following a meeting called by senior management to address individual players today.
“Management will not discuss the reasons of the suspension now as this is still an internal matter.
“The club’s spokesperson, Rufus Matsena says there are serious allegations against the three and that management will only respond once the matter has been addressed.”
Gallants next phase Golden Arrows on Sunday.
