SAFA have confirmed that the Hollywoodbets Super League is set to resume this weekend.
This follows four weeks of inactivity due to the Covid-19 restrictions.
Mamelodi Sundowns Ladies will travel to the Free State to play Tsunami Queens on 7 August 2021, while Ma-Indies will host the University of the Western Cape at Giyani Stadium.
The following day JVW Ladies host Coal City Wizards at Tsakani Stadium.
“We are excited with the return of the Hollywoodbets Super league next weekend following advise from our CMO (Chief Medical Officer) and consultation with our sponsors and the SABC,” , SAFA COO, Ms Lydia Monyepao confirmed.
“I’m certain that teams have been craving for some league action in the past few weeks.
“In taking this decision we were also mindful that the pandemic is still with us thus we have requested all clubs to observe the health and safety protocols as recommended by our CMO.”
