Hunt – It’s Not Good, We Know That

Gavin Hunt says he is concerned by the number of red cards Kaizer Chiefs have received this season.

Darrel Matsheke was the latest to be sent off, as Chiefs lost 2-1 to AmaZulu on Wednesday.

It was the second consecutive match that Chiefs had to finish with ten men after Siphosakhe Ntiya-Ntiya was sent off in Chiefs 2-1 defeat to Richards Bay in the Nedbank Cup.

“There are a few more red cards in the season already so it’s a concern,” Hunt said after the loss to AmaZulu.

“But it comes from various different things, very different reasons.

“Ja, not good if you look at it, but we also look at the situations as well, so it’s not good, we know that.”

Chiefs are currently 9th on the DStv Premiership table. They have 18 points, half of current leaders Mamelodi Sundowns who have 36 points. Both teams have played 16 games.
