Chippa United captain Augustine Chidi Kwem says they are ready to face DStv Premiership leaders Mamelodi Sundowns this weekend.
The two teams meet at Loftus Stadium as Chippa continue to play all their games this year outside of their Port Elizabeth base.
Kwem says he is expecting a tactical game against Sundowns, and says while traveling all the time has been difficult, he has been motivated by them getting results under Dan Malesela on the road.
“Obviously, they tend to keep the ball like we do. I believe that we will match them because they also play a possession game like we do,” Chippa skipper Augustine Chidi Kwem said to Chippa media.
“It will be tactical but as a team, we are positive for the game. It’s motivating seeing team score goals in the last few matches that we’ve played. The team has been gelling.”
“Travel has been hectic this month, and this is part of the sacrifice that the team has had to make during this pandemic. It is motivating some great away results.”
