Maritzburg United have promoted three young players to the first team for the remainder of the season.
Central defender Muzomuhle Ngwane and midfielders Asanda Buthelezi and Phiwayinkosi Zuma are the players in question.
All three are from Kwazulu-Natal, with Buthelezi hailing from Newcastle, while Ngwane and Zuma are local boys from Pietermaritzburg.
“I’m happy to get my chance to play with the senior players,” Buthelezi told the club’s website.
“Since I was young I have been working hard for this opportunity and finally its come and I’m ready to grab it with both hands.”
“I feel so happy to join the first team, I’ve been waiting for this chance and I will take this opportunity and give my best. I want to gain from the more experienced players,” Ngwane said.
“I’m excited, happy to join the team,” Zuma said.
“I’ve been waiting for this opportunity. My goal is to push harder and help the team to win cups and build on the position in the DStv Premiership.”
