Mobbie Not Worried About Being Loaned Out
Bafana Bafana and Sekhukhune United full-back Nyiko Mobbie says his priority is to give his best wherever he goes.
Mobbie is now on his third loan spell, this time at Ba Bina Noko, from Mamelodi Sundowns, after having been at Chippa United and Stellenbosch FC in the past two seasons.
The 27-year-old was part of the Bafana Bafana team that won the Cosafa Cup earlier this year, and he has been called up to represent South Africa in the FIFA World Cup Qualifiers games.
Mobbie, though, says he doesn’t worry being loaned out, as his aim is to play and give what he has at teams.
“It doesn’t matter if Sundowns loans me or whatever but what is important for me, is to try to give my best wherever I go,” he told iDiski Times in an exclusive interview with Lethabo Kganyago.
“So I don’t have a problem and say I want to go back to Mamelodi Sundowns, no I’m focusing where I am, like now I’m focusing on giving my best at Sekhukhune.
“So it is not all about Sundowns because there are players everywhere you go. You have to compete for your position, you have to give your best in your position, so it is not all about Sundowns but about me giving my best wherever I go.”
