Limbikani Mzava says that AmaZulu will be targeting all three points when they host Kaizer Chiefs in the DStv Premiership on Wednesday.
The 27 year old Malawian joined Usuthu at the start of the season, having previously been on the books of Highlands Park.
Mzava says that they need to just to focus on their own game, he says people may be speaking about Chiefs’ poor form, but the talking should be done on the field.
“We just need to check what we’re not doing well from the past game, and we need to take advantage of this game, because it’s at our home ground,” Mzava told AmaZulu media.
“I know people, they say Chiefs is not in a good way now, is not performing and all that, but you know football, you can’t just talk, you need to perform in the field.”
“I feel if we have one goal as a team, we need to win this game, because we need three points more than them, we don’t care if they’re down or not doing well, but for us, we’re focusing on each and every game, to collect maximum three points.”
Mzava also commented about how he the team is gelling with a new technical team led by Benni McCarthy.
“So far so good, like I said, when I joined the team, all the coaches have their own tactics you know. I’ve been coached by coach Dlamini, and I thought everything was okay with his tactics, And now Coach Benni comes in and I see he how wants us to play, and we are adjusting to it well, and I can see with 4/5 games with him as the coach, I feel like we’re going to be perfect at the back.”
