Ngcobo Sends Message To Chiefs Fans

New Kaizer Chiefs signing Njabulo Ngcobo has revealed that joining the club is a dream come true and he promises to give his all to take it back “where it belongs”.

The reigning DStv Premiership Defender of the Season has been confirmed as one of seven new Amakhosi players so far.

Ngcobo joins the club from Swallows FC and after playing a pivotal role in Bafana Bafana’s triumph at the Cosafa Cup.

“My message to the Chiefs is that, bar any injuries that may arise, I will give my all to the club and I promised to work hard to contribute in helping the team achieve its objectives,” he told iDiski Times senior writer Velile Mnyandu.

“I also promise to continue respecting them and also respecting the game itself as well. We have a huge task of taking this big brand where it belongs and I am looking forward to be part of that renewal project.”

The club’s new Nr. 27 has also spoken about his pride of joining the Soweto giants.

“I think coming to Chiefs, is also a realization of a dream, and I thank the lord and my ancestors for making this move possible,” he added.

“I am under no illusions that there is a lot of hard work ahead going ahead for me because Chiefs is a very big club and I have a huge task of delivering big time.”

Ngcobo was announced as one of the club’s first six signings two weeks ago, while Austin Dube was unveiled as new Amakhosi player on Monday.
