Ntseki Out As Bafana Coach

Bafana Bafana and Head Coach Molefi Ntseki have parted ways, following a decision by the SAFA National Executive Committee on Wednesday morning.

This comes as a result of Bafana failing to qualify for the Africa Cup of Nations in Cameroon.

It was confirmed at a press conference held on Wednesday by SAFA CEO Tebogo Motlanthe.

“The National Executive Committee has sincerely apologised, ” Motlanthe said at the presser.

“And the National Executive Committee had said that they will sit around again and come with strategies on how to deal with (going forward).”

“The NEC undertook a process last night, to decide on the way forward with the coach and what happens to the coach. And by 10 o’clock today the NEC had responded, in favor of parting ways with the coach, but there are still administrative issues which needs to be attended to.”
