Kaizer Chiefs have announced six new signings after their transfer ban from FIFA expired.
The Glamour Boys have been linked with several signings over recent weeks and now unveiled a few of them.
“Kaizer Chiefs would like to confirm the signing of Brandon Peterson, Sifiso Hlanti, Phathutshedzo Nange, Njabulo Ngcobo, Sibusiso Mabiliso and Kgaogelo Sekgota,” the club said in a statement.
“Given Thibedi has been recalled.”
Hlanti, Ngcobo and Sekgota joined the club from Swallows, while Nange became a free agent recently after leaving Stellenbosch. Mabiliso also moved to Naturena as free agent after contract with AmaZulu came to and end.
Peterson, meanwhile, has been a free agent since leaving the former Bidvest Wits in October last year, and Thibedi was on loan at Swallows.
“Currently Peterson, Hlanti, Nange and Thibedi have started training with the team. The rest of the players will join the team as soon as they finish their national team duties after the CAF Champions League final,” Chiefs confirmed.Â
