Pirates Announce 4 New Signings
Orlando Pirates have announced four new signings on Monday.
The Buccaneers returned to training on Monday and confirmed that they would announce changes to their squad in due course.
They have now confirmed the arrival of four players, saying: “Orlando Pirates Football Club is pleased to announce the signing of Goodman Mosele, Monnapule Saleng, Bandile Shandu and Kwanda Mngonyama.
“Mosele joins the Club from Baroka FC on a four-year deal. The former PSL Young Player of the Season will join the Club upon his return from national duty at the Tokyo Olympics.
“Attacking midfielder Saleng, who finished the season as Top Goal Scorer in the GladAfrica Championship, has signed an initial three-year deal.
“Meanwhile, Mngonyama and Shandu join as free agents on initial two-and three-year terms, respectively. Both players join having spent the 2020/21 season at Maritzburg United.”
This publication first linked Saleng with a move to Pirates, while iDiski Times also reported about Mosele’s transfer to Orlando Stadium in edition 24 already.
Earlier on Monday, Pirates also confirmed that they are still in negotiations with several players who returned from loan and others with expiring contracts and will make announcement on further squad changes soon.
