Orlando Pirates have announced the winners of their club awards for the 2020/2021 season.
Pirates finished third in the DStv Premiership, and also lifted silverware this season, in the shape of the MTN8 trophy. The club reached the quarter-finals of the CAF Confederation Cup and the Nedbank Cup.
Vincent Pule was the big winner of the awards, lifting four.
He was rewarded with the golden boot award, for his six league goals, while he also scored three in cup competitions (one in each).
Pule was also rewarded the club’s goal of the season for his strike against Kaizer Chiefs.
Pule picked up his third award when he shared the Fan’s Player of the Season with Deon Hotto.
And Pule and Hotto were also tie winners for the club’s Player of the Season.
Meanwhile Ghanaian goalkeeper Richard Ofori won for Save of the Season from their match against Bloemfontein Celtic
Boitumelo Radiopane was named the Prospect of the season, after his impressive performances in the DDC.
