Kaitano Tembo says SuperSport United will use their extended break to prepare for their game against Kaizer Chiefs on the 15th of December.
SuperSport were meant to play Bloemfontein Celtic this week, but the match was postponed due to Celtic’s participation in the CAF Confederations Cup, and next week’s Nedbank Cup final.
“It gives us an opportunity to work with guys, and also time to work on the players with pains and aches, and gives them a little bit of a break,” Tembo said.
“It gives us time to prepare for our game against Chiefs on the 15th, we have enough time to do that, and probably have everyone back as well.
“We can give a few players some minutes, if we can have a friendly, so we don’t stay without playing, in terms of our match fitness, so we’ll try and do that.”
Earlier this week SuperSport announced that had parted ways with veteran defender Clayton Daniels, after the two parties agreed to a mutual termination.
