Baroka FC coach Kgoloko Thobejane says luck was not his team’s side in their 3-2 defeat to Golden Arrows in Durban.
Despite a good come back in the second half, fighting back from two goals down to make it 2-2 at one point, Bakgakga lost 3-2 to Abafana Bes’thende at Princess Magogo Stadium on Sunday afternoon in the DStv Premiership.
Thobejane, though, thinks they will bounce back, as he believes it was one of their bad days and luck was on their opponents’ side.
This was his first match after he was promoted to the first team, as the former coach Matsimela Thoka was demoted to the Diski Challenge team after a string of poor results.
“You can see, no results, but the boys fought, from 2-0 to 2-2, it’s just that luck was not on our side,” Thobejane said after the match.
“But you know what, out of these games, there are many positives that we have to take.
“And out of the 15 points that we are looking for, it’s minus three we still have 12, and I know from this game going to Pirates, we still need three, and we will get it.
“It’s just that in football, if it’s not your day, it’s not your day, you can play two days none stop these thing will happen and what can I say.”?
The Limpopo side will now shift their focus to Orlando Pirates as they visit them at Orlando Stadium on Thursday at 19:30.
