SuperSport United captain Ronwen Williams says he is expecting a tricky DStv Premiership game against Bloemfontein Celtic this afternoon.
The two teams meet at the Lucas Masterpieces Moripe Stadium at 5pm today.
Williams says Celtic cannot be underestimated but the Bafana Bafana goalkeeper feels that his team have the momentum, and a good victory could see them move up to second place.
SuperSport are currently third on 19 points, 3 points behind second-placed Swallows FC and 5 off the pace from leaders Mamelodi Sundowns.
“The upcoming game is not going to be easy,” Williams told the club’s media department.
“I mean, Celtic has taken lot of points off us in the past few seasons. They are a very tricky side. They’ve got experience, as well as the youth, so they’ve got a good bunch of players you know, and they’ve caused us a lot of upsets in the past.”
“But it’s our home game, we need to believe that we can beat them‚ they are beatable, we’ve seen them lose games before so we need to keep this wonderful momentum going, do the right things, learn from our mistakes from the previous games that we played against them, and hopefully this time we can go home with the maximum points.”
