Zwane Singles 3 Chiefs Players Out For Praise

Arthur Zwane has praised three Kaizer Chiefs players for their performances this season.

The Amakhosi interim coach collected an important three points in his first game in charge, beating Golden Arrows 3-2.

A victory in their final game of the season against TS Galaxy could now see Chiefs end the 2020/21 inside the top eight.

Ahead of the game, Zwane praised the impact of Amakhosi development products, Happy Mashiane, Nkosingiphile Ngcobo, who assisted two goals off the bench against Arrows, and Njabulo Blom.

“I used to tell them I know where I am going, I hope you will join me on this journey,” Zwane told the club’s media department.

“As much as I am ambitious, I am very patient as well. I want you to know you have to dig deep and give your all in order to be successful.

“No one will give it to you. They are very humble boys. They want to be successful. They want to add value to the team and build their own brands within Kaizer Chiefs’ huge brand.

“So, I know that they very, very ambitious and focused, but we still have to, you know, still remind them all the time because they’re still young and there’s so many things that are happening out there that can easily distract them.

“So seeing Happy you know, doing wonders, seeing ‘Shinny’, Nkosingiphile Ngcobo doing wonders, Njabulo… it is good, you know, for the team.

“And it also know motivates other players who are still in the development also wants to, you know, graduate to the first team.

“So, yeah, we are, we are honored and privileged, you know, to have the opportunity to work with these boys. You know, until up to now, we still doing well, and we have a very good, you know, relationship.

“So, they still listen, they still respect and the dedication is still there. So I don’t see them failing, you know, going forward.

“So yeah, we are happy for all of us, we’re happy for Happy and also seeing him you know, dancing, because it’s not easy if you score Goal of the Month. It can easily become a contender, you know, over the Goal of the Season. So yeah, we’re happy for him.”

Ngcobo has made the starting XI for Chiefs’ final game of the 2020/21 DStv Premiership campaign, while Mashiane and Blom will start the game on the bench.
