Casric Stars have confirmed the sacking of coach Aschwin Sutton with immediate effect.
Sutton, who has had extensive coaching stints in the Motsepe Foundation Championship, was appointed during the off season to replace Bucs Mthombeni, who was the coach/owner last term and has since taken the CEO post within the club.
Mthombeni was in charge of Stars as they reached the PSL Playoffs but they lost all four allocated matches in the mini league, leading him to step down as coach.
Sutton’s last game was a shocking 2-0 loss to KwaZulu-Natal newbies side Milford FC on Saturday.
