Mamelodi Sundowns have confirmed that Lucas Ribeiro is among seven players ruled out of the MTN8 final due to injury.
Ribeiro has been Sundowns’ best goal scorer this season, scoring seven goals across all competitions so far.
Rulani Mokwena had indicated he could recover in time from his knee injury, but the club now confirmed that he has been ruled out.
But the Brazilian is not the only absent player, as six others are also ruled out for today’s clash at the Moses Mabhida Stadium.
