Mexico Name World Cup Squad As Bafana Showdown Nears
Veteran goalkeeper Guillermo Ochoa is the main headliner in Mexico’s 26-man squad for the 2026 FIFA World Cup that gets underway next week. The 40-year-old will represent El Tri in a record-setting sixth World Cup after being roped back into the set-up. Ochoa has been part of Mexico’s World Cup story since 2006 and will be on the grandest stage for his final dance before hanging up his gloves.
