6 New Faces In Bafana Squad

There were several new and uncapped faces in Hugo Broos’ 38-man Bafana Bafana squad announced on Tuesday. Broos’ men will take on Uganda on 6 September before facing South Sudan away from home four days later to kick off their qualifiers for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations. The Belgian tactician announced an initial 38-man squad and will still trim it down to 23 players, who will assemble in camp. Bafana Bafana coach Hugo Broos has announced his 38-man preliminary squad for the upcoming Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers. Former SuperSport United winger Thabo Mnyamane has announced his retirement from professional football aged 32. The three-time capped South Africa international has been without a club for two years since suffering a knee injury with his last club Marumo Gallants.
