Official: Leopards Confirm New Coach

Motsepe Foundation Championship outfit Black Leopards have confirmed the appointment of Ghanaian coach Maxwell Konadu on a three-year deal. Konadu, 51, who joins from Nsoatreman FC in his native Ghana, has already been set a mandate by Lidoda Duvha management, which is to gain promotion back to the DStv Premiership. Leopards were relegated from topflight football in 2020/21 when their fate was sealed on the last day of the season after narrowly going down 2-1 to Cape Town City. Leopards chairman Tshifhiwa Thidiela revealed that they had already reached a deal with the Kumasi-born coach ahead of the 2024/25 campaign.

Former Orlando Pirates Goalkeeper Coach Andrew Sparkes has joined English Championship side Queens Park Rangers. Sparkes, 39, worked at the Buccaneers in 2018/19 as part of Milutin ‘Micho’ Sredojevic’s coaching staff before joining Southampton in the Premier League.
