Promising South African defender Tylon Smith made his long-awaited Championship debut for Queens Park Rangers but it was a night to forget. Ten-man Durban City secured the final spot in the Nedbank Cup semi-finals after beating Golden Arrows 5-4 on penalties on Sunday afternoon at the King Zwelithini Stadium. Arrows made three changes to the line-up that started against Mamelodi Sundowns in the previous match, with Eduard Maova, Siphesihle Msomi, and Sabelo Sithole replacing Thakasani Mbanjwa, Siboniso Madonsela, and Angelo Van Rooi. South African defender Rushine De Reuck has inked a new one-year contract extension at Simba SC. The 30-year-old joined the 22-time Tanzanian Premier League champions Simba SC from Mamelodi Sundowns in July 2025.
