The Confederation of African Footbal [CAF] have confirmed the drawing pots for the Champions League group stage draw, with Mamelodi Sundowns in Pot 1. The draw will take place at 14:00 (SAST) in Johannesburg on Monday, with Sundowns the only South African team among the 16 qualified teams after Orlando Pirates were knocked out by St. Eloi Lupopo. A rampant Orlando Pirates thumped Mamelodi Sundowns 5-1 to go top of the DStv Diski Challenge table while Kaizer Chiefs dropped points once again to extend winless run to seven matches. In the top-of-the-table clash, Sundowns scored first through Xavier Jodamus and went into the break leading 1-0.
