Stellenbosch FC head coach Steve Barker believes that a player from his club wouldn’t reject a substitution like Kaizer Chiefs goalkeeper Fiecre Ntwari. Ntwari started his first domestic match this season against Stellenbosch in the Carling Knockout Cup. The Rwandan international played a good game throughout, keeping a clean sheet for 120 minutes. When it came close to penalties, Chiefs’ technical team wanted to substitute him for Bruce Bvuma but the former TS Galaxy goalkeeper refused to be taken off.
