Banyana Squad To Play Malawi Announced

Banyana Banyana head coach Desiree Ellis has named the 23-woman squad to play two international friendlies against Malawi next month. Banyana will play the Scorchers in the first match on 5 April and again three days later. The WAFCON champions have dominated the fixture in recent years winning four of their last five duals with the other game won by the Scorchers. This is the second friendly for the African champions in 2025 following the first one against Lesotho last month. The matches are being used as preparation for the upcoming Women’s Africa Cup of Nations in July in Morocco.
