Premier Soccer League (PSL) chairman Dr Irvin Khoza has paid special tribute to Kaizer Chiefs boss Kaizer Motaung Sr who celebrates his 80th birthday. In a statement by the PSL, Khoza referred to his long-life football friend as an “exemplary contribution to humanity”. Born on 16 October 1944, in the township of Orlando in Soweto, Dr. Motaung signed for Orlando Pirates at just 16, before his talent took him to the US where he played for Atlanta Chiefs. The launch of the tournament was hosted at Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium on Wednesday morning, where it was confirmed the Home of Legends Cup will take place on 16 November.
