Former Orlando Pirates Reserves midfielder Yanga Baliso has left Finnish side IFK Mariehamn after his contract was not renewed.
The 25-year-old joined Mariehamn in February 2020 from Pargas IF in Finland, signing a two-year deal with the Veikkausliiga side.
Over the past two seasons, the former Ajax Cape Town youth development player made 56 appearances in all competitions for Mariehamn, scoring two goals and assisting on five occasions.

However, iDiskiTimes has learnt that Baliso’s contract with IFK Mariehamn is set to expire at the end of December 2022 and club will not renew his deal.
The midfielder will be free to join a team of his choice from January 2023.
Baliso joined Pirates’ reserve team in 2016 and had a loan stint with Cape Umoya in 2018/19. However, he never made a first-team appearance for the Buccaneers and left the club in 2019 for greener pastures in Europe.
