Pitso Mosimane’s agent Moira Tlhagale has revealed that the coach and his technical team have given her the mandate to look for a national team for their next job.
Mosimane is currently with Abha FC in the Saudi Pro League on a short-term deal until the end of the season, tasked with saving them from relegation.
Although his current deal includes the possibility of staying longer should his representatives and the club agree on terms for next season, Tlhagale said she’s also looking into his next destination already.
Tlhagale told iDiski Times senior journalist Lorenz Köhler in the latest edition of the newspaper that her camp is currently in talks with different potential employers, however none of them are local.
“Local, local, local… no, local,” Tlhagale told iDiski Times.
“I will tell you definitely, the next move the coach would like to do or the coach and the whole technical team would like to do is a national team.
“So we are looking for those options for them, that’s the mandate they have given me. But obviously, if there is a project, even local, that comes, we’ll consider it.”

Thlagale also told iDiski Times that Abha initially wanted to secure Mosimane for a longer stay, but for now they have left the door open for a new project next season and she has already initiated talks with potential suitors.
“They wanted an 18-month contract but for us, just my side in the negotiations, we were not happy with the next year’s amount,” Tlhagale continued in her exclusive chat with iDiski Times.
“Understanding the market, we agreed that we’ll help them for the next four months and if there’s interest, the coach would keep them in the Saudi Pro League, and we agreed on the negotiations of the second part, then yes… if we don’t agree he moves on to other opportunities.”
“Even now, we know in Abha they only have four months, I’ve already started talking to other teams, which I cannot tell you now, to just start building opportunities if Abha doesn’t work out.”
