SA Winger Joins Serbian SuperLiga Side

South African winger Kurt Abrahams has secured a move to Serbian SuperLiga side FK Novi Pazar.

The 26-year-old makes the move to the side who finished sixth in the 16-team division last season after six years in Belgium, where he tuned out for Sint-Truiden, KVC Westerlo and KMSK Deinze.

Abrahams was a regular feature for all three clubs and racked up 127 appearances over the six seasons but was a free agent for almost a year since leaving Deinze.

He netted 23 goals with 18 assists during his time in Belgium and the move to Serbia will be seen as a major step to get his career back on track.

Despite his notable progress since leaving South Africa as a teenager in 2017, Abrahams has not been capped at any level for the national team.
