South African attacking duo Devin Titus and Tshegofatso Mabasa were on the receiving end for Maghreb Fes who narrowly lost 1-0 to Wydad Sportive Témara in the Botola Pro on Sunday evening.
While Titus completed the 76 minutes, Mabasa was hauled off at the resumption of the second period with the pair unable to make an impact for Mas.
The defending Moroccan champions came into the clash in confidence mood after progressing into the CAF Champions League group stages with a 2-1 aggregate win over ASEC Mimosas.
MAS’s latest defeat not only saw them fail to record a win for the third game in a row but also compounded them to dropping to seventh place on the log with eight points after six matches, five adrift of leaders KACM.
Témara got off to a perfect start as Zakaria Oulbenna found the back of the net in the 13th minute with the only goal of the match which lifted them into fourth spot.
The next league clash sees Mas take on Fath Union Sport at home on Saturday, 7 November, with the hope of restoring their pride.
