Cape Town City midfielder Luphumlo Sifumba has attracted interest from Polish side Radomiak Radom.
Sifumba, 18, has come through City’s youth ranking and had his first full season with the senior side after making his debut in April 2023 in a 2-1 loss against Orlando Pirates.
The 18-year-old was named DStv Diski Challenge Player of the Season last season after an exceptional campaign which led him to be rewarded by a senior side debut.
This season Sifumba made 12 appearances in all competitions and had one assist and has been lauded as one of the most promising talents in the country.
The Ekstraklasa side, who previously had compatriot Thabo Cele on their books, have made an approach to the Citizens which has not been agreed upon.
iDiski Times understands they are seeking to take him on a season-long loan without a fee, which the Mother City club are not keen on entertaining.
It remains to be seen if the Polish side will return and be willing to meet their demands in the coming weeks, with the transfer window set to open on 1 July.
