Former AmaZulu and Chippa United striker Elmo Kambindu has resurfaced at Magesi FC ahead of the 2026/27 season in the Motsepe Foundation Championship.
Kambindu, 33, parted ways with Usuthu at the end of last season where he scored four goals in 21 games for the club after they lured him to Durban from Chippa United.

A regular feature for the Chilli Boys in seasons gone by, the towering Namibian has been known for his relentless work rate and ability to hold up the ball, rather than a prolific marksman.
With five goals in 43 games at Chippa, he’s been a reliable campaigner in the Premier Soccer League, and Magesi have now turned to his services in a bid to fire them back to the top-flight next season.
Kambindu has signed a one-year deal with the recently relegated club – who had two seasons in the Betway Premiership and won the Carling Knockout Cup.
