Marumo Gallants defender Eroine Agnikoi has made a surprise transfer to Golden Arrows ahead of the new season.
Agnikoi, 20, was one of the club’s standout players for the club last season, featuring in 19 games, scoring two goals before his season was cut short due to injury.

He played every minute of their run to the Carling Knockout Cup final where they fell to winners Orlando Pirates and started attracting widespread acclaim.
Having joined from Belgian club Zulte Waregem, the Ivory Coast U23 international, was a real coup for the club, as former head coach Alexandre Laffite used his network from his time with Stade d’Abidjan, his former club, where he won the Ivorian Ligue 1.
Arrows have now moved in to secure the talented defender ahead of the new season on a two-year deal, becoming the latest Ivorian to make the move to the Kwa-Zulu Natal based outfit after Junior Dion, Oumar Comara and Isaac Cisse – who has since made a lucrative switch to Royal Charleroi SC.
