Cape Town City defender Lorenzo Gordinho looks set for a move to newly promoted Durban City ahead of the 2025/26 season.
Gordinho, 31, was an ever-present figure for City since returning to South Africa from Denmark, where he spent three years with Viborg and HB Köge respectively.
However, the former Bidvest Wits, Kaizer Chiefs and Bloemfontein Celtic centre-back suffered relegation with the Citizens and forms part of the senior contingent who have now left the club.
Durban City, formerly, Maritzburg United, have now agreed a deal in principle with Gordinho, as they prepare for life in the top-flight after winning the Motsepe Foundation Championship.
The club has also been linked with Nigerian defender Denis Nya – who parted ways with ZESCO United this week after two standout seasons in Zambia.
