Kaizer Chiefs head coach Nasreddine Nabi says they will be patient in the transfer market due to the huge responsibility of rebuilding the squad.
Since his appointment as head coach, the club has brought in seven new signings, Bongani Sam, Fiacre Ntwari, Rushwin Dortley, Gaston Sirino, Inacio Miguel, Njabulo Blom and Bradley Cross.
The club has strongly been linked with Oswin Appollis over the last week but Nabi has remained tight-lipped on any potential moves in the market before the window shuts on 20 September.
“For myself, for that, I don’t want to accept propositions for new players, I need to take my time because it’s a big responsibility,” he said after the game.
“I think all the new players today, congratulations to my committee for the honour of these possibilities. You saw the result, I think it’s very good new players.”
Amakhosi kickstarted life under Nabi with a 2-1 win over Marumo Gallants on Saturday afternoon at the Toyota Stadium.
