Former Maritzburg United and Cape Town City forward Judas Moseamedi has completed a historical move to Tunisia, as previously reported by iDiski Times.
Moseamedi, 29, was unveiled by Tunisian side El Gawafel Sportives de Gafsa, who won the Ligue 2 in Tunisia this past season to be promoted to the top flight.
The striker had been a free agent after his short-term stint with Marumo Gallants came to and end and he has now put pen to paper on a two-year deal in North Africa.
He becomes the first South African player to play in Tunisia, as more and more local players branch out into other leagues.
Before his stint at Gallants, Moseamedi was on the books of Stellenbosch FC, making 32 appearances in one-and-a-half years.
He also featured 74 times for Maritzburg United, scoring 15 goals, and 73 times for Cape Town City, netting 13 times, including the 2-1 winner in the 2016/17 Telkom Knockout final over SuperSport United.
