Mamelodi Sundowns have officially announced the signing of Matías Esquivel who joins the DStv Premiership leaders from Argentine side Club Atlético Lanús.
Masandawana have completed the move for the midfielder in a deal worth $2.5-million (R46.7m), as reported by iDiski Times a few weeks weeks ago.
The Argentine had agreed personal terms in December, after a standout campaign with the Primera División outfit as they finished fourth in the 28-team division.
Ezquivel made 95 appearaces for his boyhood club, scoring seven goals and setting up 12 more. He also had a loan spell at CA Talares, where he scored six goals and assisted four more in 31 appearances.
He is Sundowns second signing this window after the club previously announced Zuko Mdunyelwa from Chippa United.
