Moroka Swallows have completed the signing of Burkina Faso international midfielder Roland Sanou, iDiski Times has learnt.
The Birds continue to boast their squad a few days before window transfer closes, as Sanou, 21, is a young and vibrant defensive midfielder, who previously played Royal FC de Bobo in Burkina Faso.
Sanou represented ‘The Stallions at youth level, where he managed to get only one cap. The Soweto giants arguably had one of the best window transfers, bringing in quality and experienced players.
iDiski Times understands that his move to the Bird’s Nest has been completed and he is expected to bring his physicality into Steve Komphela’s midfield.
He will compete with the likes of Tlakusani Mthethwa, who is the captain of the club, Andile Jali and Lantshane Phalane.
Swallows have started the season well, and have climbed into third place with 10 points after their win over Stellenbosch FC on Tuesday.
