Bafana Bafana and Al Ahly star Percy Tau is reportedly attracting interest from Saudi Pro League side Al-Shabab.
Tau, who has one year remaining on his contract has become an integral part of the Ahly squad since the arrival of head coach Marcel Koller.
Last season he scored 10 goals and registered seven assists as they won five trophies, which include the CAF Champions League and Egyptian Premier League.
Reports in Saudi publication SportKSA suggested the club who finished fourth last season has set their sights on the South African forward.
Marcel Keizer’s side initially approached Zamalek for their star forward Zizo but were hit back with a $8-million asking price while Shabab were offering $4-million.
The report added that with Tau in the final year of his contract, they are hopeful a bid in that region would be enough to secure the 29-year-old but with Koller informing the Ahly hierarchy to secure him on a new lucrative contract, a move to the Gulf may not materialise this transfer window.
