Seoposenwe Stars In Mexico Again

Banyana Banyana star Jermaine Seaposenwe continues to shine in Mexico laying two assists and scoring one goal in a nine-goal humdinger.

Seaposenwe continued her brilliant form in the colours of Monterrey Rajadas and helped her side into the semi-finals of the Liga Mx Femenil after they hammered Tijuana 8-4 on aggregate.

In the first leg, Seoposenwe laid an assist for Christina Burkenroad in an important 2-1 away victory on Saturday, 11 November.

But last night, she was the star of the show when Monterrey ran out 6-3 winners in a nine-goal festival, producing two assists and scoring one herself.

The Banyana Banyana star set up her side’s third with a back heel to Nicole Perez before also assisting Diana Evangelist for Rajadas’ fifth goal of the match.

Three minutes later Seaposenwe sealed the game with a cherry on top after a great finish to make it 6-2 and send Monterrey into the semis.

Monterrey will face Tigres UNAL in a two-legged semifinal, with first leg being played at Monterrey home ground.

They recently beat Tigres, who finished on top of the log in the regular season, 3-1 away from home and are currently on a run of seven successive wins and 12 games without defeat.
